Well, Jewels, my friends, is the fucking fantastic producer of underrated as fuck group Sunz of Soul, who should all be checking immediately. "Life, Love" is a powerful entry in a long line of "gettin by and livin life" rap manifestos that have dropped over the years. Over a loping drums and a sample that toes the line between smooth strings and haunting woogity-woogity-woogity and back across every few bars, Black Mamba and guest Shawn Struggle spit tales of life.
